GREAT Training Grant Annual Retreat

The Annual GREAT Training Retreat will be held on two days in mid October at the Aliso Creek Inn, Laguna Beach, Orange County. The meeting will serve to present the projects of the training grants and their progress to the entire body of GREAT grant recipients, UC BREP Executive Committee Members and Program Staff as well as select guests from the Industry. The meeting will host Industry scientists, GREAT trainees and their faculty sponsors as featured speakers.

Each Training Grant Presentation will start with a 5 min. overview of the laboratory focus by the Sponsors and continue with a more detailed (15 min.) description by the trainee of his/her research, finishing with 5 min. for questions. Trainees are also encouraged to present posters.

Announcement E-mails for the retreat will be send out in early September.
